A brain map is a non-invasive
measure of electrical activity from the surface of the brain. A
brain map simultaneously records brain wave activity at 19
locations. With a brain map, overactivity or underactivity at any of
these locations can be identified, then neurofeedback training can be
directed to normalize brain wave patterns at those identified sites.
Brain maps cut down on the number of neurofeedback training
sessions to arrive at successful outcomes.
